Since I got home I've discovered some odd changes to the local landscape. This sushi place in what used to be Pizza Hut is one of them.
But I decided to try it. Turns out, it wasn't half bad. I mean it wasn't extraordinary. But it was BY FAR the best sushi I've had in the Lower Valley. Ever. It was a lot like Tokyo Seoul in Pullman.
There was one thing on the menu that I've never seen in a sushi joint before. It was called a "Mexican roll."
It made me laugh. I had to try it. Shrimp tempura, crab, cucumber, seaweed and rice. And what tasted like a combo of wasabi and enchilada sauce. I shit you not.
That's it there, on the near side of the plate.

It was pretty good. See?

It wasn't too expensive as far as sushi goes and so far I haven't noticed any effects of food poisoning. Which is always nice.
But the one key ingredient to any good piece of sushi is a Japanese beer. It's so crisp and clean. It's a match made in heaven. Akin to a good cheese burger, pickle and a cold draft.
See?
Yummi, yummi.
