Music Monday: Country Emo

This has always been and always will be one of my favorite songs.

I guess you might have to be me to appreciate it like I do but it will always remind me of unloading horses from a trailer, the smell of saddle leather and way my mom smiled at me from atop her horse Bunny, her blond hair shining like a halo in the sun. I was only about three feet tall but I remember looking up at her, amazed at her ability to control that huge animal with a simple movement of her leg.

I still remember this song playing as I watched her run barrels. She would kick that horse in the sides and it would explode from the gate, farting and kicking up dirt ...
