This guy walks up behind two strangers and slams their heads together. But, whoops! There's a cop sitting in his car right across the street.Stuff like this is more common than you think. Almost every weekend this semester there has been random acts of violence. A.k.a. dudes sucker punch each other a lot in this town. Why? Probably because they have bad parents. And to somehow prove their dominance to themselves.
DJ Goldfinger passed on a good observation to me the other day. One gleaned from years of experience working in a bar. He said that guys are never really down to fight because it's not about the fight. It's about the macho stuff.
Chicks, on the other hand, fight rarely and because they really want to hurt that other person. There's no macho, social stuff they have to prove. They're throwing punches because they intend to do something with their fists.
Thought that was funny especially in light of this guy's story. He's just doing violence to prove something to himself.
How sad.
