Now it might be vain to post my awards on my blog but I submit that blogging is an inherently vain endeavor so it's not really out of character.

It's just nice to be recognized by your peers. I take pride in what I do and try to always remember: "A good journalist should afflict the comfortable and comfort the afflicted."
