Gossip is a band from Olympia, Washington and I remember them playing gigs in and around Oly when I was going to school at St. Martin's University.
The band's frontwoman, Beth Diddo, is the constant fodder for discussion on feminist blogs and forums Internet-wide because of her weight. I don't really care personally. I mean if John Popper can push 3-hundo without getting a sidelong glance I really don't see why Diddo's weight is even a topic of discussion.
No body ever wrote an analytical dissertation regarding Biggy's obesity and it's impact on gender relations among hip-hop listeners.
Good music is just good freaking music and Diddo's got a set of pipes that just won't quit. This video had me dancing in my basement.
