Working on 'ze foto taking
So basically in my new job I'm a freelance journo for hire and one of the things I've been working on is improve the ole' photography skillz. Here are some shots I took up at Mission Ridge recently.
Good shots! Like the last ones and the group shot in the snow. You have good composition of your photos.
One tid-bit.....contrast of the photos could be greater and that would help define them and stand out more. I use a simple photo editor called Picasa and one of the things I like to do is up the contrast to make the darks darker and the lights lighter. Would help a lot for snow photos and looks awesome for black and white photos. :)
Thanks! And yeah, I usually use iPhoto but since I had my Mac jacked (so to speak) I've been without a good photo editing tool. Picasa is an online thing through Google though right? I might check that out. I think I'll get a new Mac soon but Photoshop is a whoooole 'nother investment, haha.
