The lovely R. King at "Go, Go Internets Ranger" actually took and posted these pictures from The Daily Evergreen newsroom on her blog, but these are some of the police documents I spent the last week poring over.
I never think to take pictures of stuff like this, but I had all the documents taped up on our white boards and then marked what happened and when in each document just to make sure I got the chronology of events correct.
These chaotically organized pages are the result of me freaking out about two hours before deadline and tearing through all the reports one more time just to make sure I got everything right.
Since, you know, my byline was in a large font on the front that said, "Hey if anything is wrong in this story, this is the guy you're looking for!"
