You may notice that today isn't Monday. True. But I do what I want. So I'm posting something for music Monday two days too late.
I just had to post this song because I haven't posted anything from Morrissey before and the man is a complete genius. He's like the Moses, the patriarch, of indie music and his lyrics are so powerful. Case in point, this verse:
"I've been dreaming of a time when
The English are sick to death of Labour, And Tories
And spit upon the name Oliver Cromwell
And denounce this royal line that still salute him,
And will salute him forever."
Amen brother. People are citizens, not subjects. And Oliver Cromwell can burn in hell.
