Talk to cops, get beat by men in makeup

No one wants to get beat up by guys in tights, wearing makeup. But that's what happened to one Pullman bro last Halloween.

While walking home on All Hallows Eve the guy decides he's tired and wants a ride from a passing police officer. So he flags the public servant down.

The officer refuses and drives away.

The bro is left on an empty street save for two coiffed, spandexed and white-faced gentlemen dressed in full KISS regalia. They don't like the fact that he was talking to a cop and tell him to walk on the opposite side of the street.

He ignores them and gets beat. See?

After enduring repeated blows from the two assailants they take off. He follows.

But while dialing Pullman PD he loses his two attackers and cannot tell the officer who arrives where they went.

However, the cop notices suspicious activity from a nearby house. A man comes to the door and upon seeing the policeman retreats inside and turns off the porch lights. The officer approaches and knocks on the door.

The cop writes in his report that someone keeps coming into the front room and peeking out of the blinds but no one will answer the door. Finally, after repeated knocks, a man answers the door.

The officer questions the man who says he's willing to help but the officer reports that he was being evasive and unhelpful.

You can tell from the report that the cop thinks the KISS guys are in the house but there's nothing he can really do about it. He returns to the victim and says he suspects the guys are in there but "there was nothing further I could do at the time."

He waits around for a while but no one matching the description leaves the house so the officer leaves and the case is closed.

The more of these reports I post the more it dawns on me how easy it is to get away with violence in Pullman.
